Alexa Miller is proof God thinks BIG. Whether it’s her BIG smile or her BIG energy or the BIG challenges she tackles with BIG passion beneath BIG hair she’s coiffed to survive a BIG hurricane, Alexa “The Golden Girl” Miller delivers BIG results for those who desire a fit and healthy lifestyle. But ask anyone the secret to this Blonde “3”-Bomb-shell’s success and they’ll point out Alexa’s amazing attitude,Or her gritty work ethic,Or her super-marvelous, extra-BIG heart. As Anytime Fitness Lima’s Director of Marketing and club manager, this Self-Esteem Siren meshes her love for helping others with her “feel the burn” spirit. From her days as a hardwood heroine at Archbold High School and UNOH, "Coach Lex" raced to a Marketing Degree before coaching the women’s basketball team and work-horsing her way through the athletic department. Eventually, that life gave way to a personal training world at Anytime Fitness where her wealth of health knowledge helps members find confidence and lose fat. When this Athletic Advocate marches out of the gym, our Stylin'-Profilin'-Dodge-Ram Drivin’ Queen sprints into a non-stop social life that has her traveling the globe. Among her many loves are her husband Brandon, her daughter Cozy, her Brady bunch like family and the Michigan State Spartans.

Lima is my hometown, I grew up here and want to see the city continue to grow and develop which requires young people to stay and/or move here. This organization provides a great resource for doing just that.Committee: My committee is Professional Development and we organize the monthly luncheon which provides an opportunity to learn from other professionals in the area skills to become better in our professional lives. It’s also a great way to meet new people in the community.

I joined the YP to surround myself with other driven individuals and help use my skills along with others to accomplish greater goals. To grow with and through others. Community Engagement: My goal is to keep the YP as involved in the community growth as possible. We are a strong and great group that has a ton to offer Lima. At the end of the day, I want the Lima YP to have the biggest and best impact it can on the community.

The YP served as the basis for my first civic and social interactions in Lima more than a decade ago. Not originally from the area, this group helped me find a group of people with common interests and goals. Today, these people are integral to the work that I do and through their leadership, I can clearly see a future that involves all of us working together toward a vibrant community. The YP drives me to be an active and engaged partner in this future.

I was specifically interested in being the committee chair for Mentor Lima because I know how important it is to be surrounded by wise Mentors. We have a great line up of Mentors this year from 8 different industries in the community that we are so excited to hear from. My past Mentors have certainly helped to shape my character and career, my hope is we can experience the same through the Lima Mentors in this program.
